Lubrizol Volunteers From Avon Build Bonds

“Building Bonds” is the Avon Company Lubrizol’s way of giving back to our communities.

June 14th the Lucy Idol Center will be honored to have forty of Lubrizol’s employees spend a day with us as they volunteer to build a storage shed, take down an old fence, clean the Center’s four vehicles, put our flag pole in a new location, rototill our garden and plant grass seed in a new cleared area and paint picnic tables.

This is a return visit as last year thirty five Lubrizol employees cleaned our garage, painted our yard equipment, cleaned our vans, painted sealer on the brick of our building, and prepared lunch for everyone.

All of the arrangements have been made after several meetings with Lubrizol staff and everyone here at the center is looking forward to watching the action and magic take place again. Lunch on the porch with clients, staff, and volunteers is a joy to share.
