Gifts in Kind

Help bring Lucy Idol Center Programs to a whole new level by donating a gift-in-kind. In kind gifts are products that help meet the needs of our clients, our staff, or our facility. Lucy Idol Center accepts many types of wonderful donations that are determined to be useful and support the Center’s mission.

Check out our Wish List of items that are currently needed at the Center and follow these three easy steps.

1. Print the gifts in-kind donation form
2. Complete all requested information on the gifts in kind donation form
3. Mail or deliver the form and the donation

When in-kind-gifts and donations are valued in excess of $500.00 the IRS requires donors to complete a special form for their taxes. Please consult your tax advisor for more information regarding IRS requirements and full deductibility of donated gifts.

In the 1950’s which was the beginning years of the Lucy Idol Center, we were blessed by good friends, the Buckosh family, who owned the Vermilion Lake Erie Lanes Bowling Alley. They were kind to donate bowling through out the winter months free of charge to the disabled individuals who were enrolled in the program. Today our clients continue to go bowling free of charge. Thank you Buckosh family for such a wonderful donation.

The Vermilion Rotary Club has paid for the Lucy Idol Center Swimming program for over twenty years.
It has helped clients find freedom in the water when they might otherwise be confined to a wheelchair.
They have provided a program for disabled individuals that the Center financially might not be able to provide and we thank them so much.
