Change Culture, Behavior, and Relationships

Our Nonviolent Crisis Interventions® specialist is going to a 2 day refresher course in preparation for our staff training coming up on March 16th. This will allow us to conduct in-house training. It is an ideal way to cascade the program throughout the entire organization and support an ongoing Training Process.

By using Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training as part of a comprehensive crisis prevention and intervention plan, you can learn how to defuse challenging and disruptive behavior before an incident escalates to a crisis situation. Successful implementation leads to a change in organizational culture, a change in adult professional behavior, and a change in staff relationships with both service users and stakeholders. These changes offer many benefits to the staff, the organization, and the individuals we serve This program, considered the worldwide standard for crisis prevention and intervention training, can help your organization:

Reduce the risk of injury.

Comply with legislative mandates.

Meet regulatory/accreditation standards.

Improve staff retention.

Minimize exposure to liability.

Promote the philosophy of Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security

Here at Lucy Idol, we value the importance of Nonviolent Crisis Intervention®. It is in part, how we successfully manage situations at our center with Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security in mind.
